New Beginnings!

So...

Everyone seems to be catching on via rumor and facebook. So I just want to put it out there that yes, Josh and I are getting divorced. Its been a long, hard road...and we have decided to go our separate ways. Without going into details I will just say this is the hardest thing I have ever been through. However I am confident that its the best thing for both Josh and myself...

We are subletting our apartment in NYC- hopefully starting in January. My next job contract starts February 27. So I have decided to move to Florida for the next two months. I think with all my family has been through in the last year it is time to go home and have some quality time together! It will also be good for me to be around my family at this time in my life. Mom as promised to do barter with a personal trainer so I can get in really good shape before I leave for work! :-)

SO!!!!!

With Cirque du Soleil sadly at and end I have been on unemployment and training/auditioning in NYC. I landed my next gig...not something I ever wanted to do or imagined I would do....I'm off to sea!!! I will be dancing on board the Holland America Cruise Line for a company called Stiletto Entertainment whih produces the show..."Showroom at Sea". I will be one of two dancers...showgirls! lol. I was really hoping to get away to help deal with the divorce and so this job came at a perfect time!!!

I will be going to some amazing places!!! This is why I have started this blog...and titled it "where in the world is Kassie Brown?". I will be all over from Feb-November. I will have limited internet and communication so I plan on updating this blog with all my cool stories and pictures from life at sea!

My Itenerary...(Warning: Don't read if you are going to get jealous!)

Los Angeles- This is where we rehearse for a month and a half.
Singapore- this is where I fly to to start the cruise!!!

~Sail Across the Pacific
Port in Vancouver and do 7 day cruises around Alaska for a couple months

Fiji Islands!!!!!!

I know- I am so thrilled!!!!!!! I basically do five shows.....a different one ever night. And i have the days free- I can explore the cities, layout, workout, do whatever! It's like a paid vacation! (Which is why I don't mind the fact that its WAY less than I made at Cirque! lol) I will have no bills really- I may keep my phone and get an international plan. Or cancel it- haven't decided. I will have to pay for internet minutes on board but I can find free places in port. So I am basically traveling the world, dancing, and saving all my money! Great deal!

So- I hope you all enjoy this blog...it will be my way of keeping in touch with everyone since communication is limited!
