Alaska!

Alaska is stunning!!!!! We go to three ports a week- Junea, Skagway, and Ketchikan....then of course cruise through Glacier Bay and to Vancouver....

Here is an array of Alaska pics in no particular order...

Bering Sea

We crossed the Bering Sea and made it through alive! Woohoo- so our cross from Russia to Alaska was pretty rocky. It was seriously scary to me. Most things were cancelled..it was definitely hard to walk around. At the lido the dishes were all falling and breaking and food was sliding on the table. I had room service and it crashed while I was sleeping. I had taken sea sick pills to help me pass out so I could sleep through most of it. Anyways- Dad you should be proud of me. That’s like where the Deadliest catch guys work….

a mess in my room....

RUSSIA

Russia was pretty cold and bleak. It was interesting to visit but I can’t say I ever wa nt to go back. We went to Petroplovask and Vladivostok. The most interesting part was the submarine museum…oh and shopping at “Forever 18”…lol

Its real- Not disney! lol

South Korea

We only had a few hours and I was a woman on a mission! Kurt and I took the shuttle in and had a Starbucks to start…then he was a trooper while I went searching for presents for my family! Mission almost accomplished- I got a lot of stuff! Then we figured if we moved fast we could see the tower and the festival of lanterns. It was a quick run through it all snapping away hoping for some good photos! The Koreans were nice and adamant about how much they liked President Obama..lol.

I wanted this puppy so bad!

Kobe Japan

Kobe was pretty much shopping and photo shoot day! We got off and took a shuttle into town. We found a starbucks- aren’t Chris and I cute? We were very excited. My first Starbucks in a very long time! We found UNIQLO and so I decided a little passenger friendly shopping was in order. I bought three incredibly useful pieces. A cute short sleeved flowered and lace shirt, a white wrap cardigan, and a black cotton boyfriend blazer! The last is my favorite. J Noemi suggested I needed one for my wardrobe and I hope I did her proud! I love when I rolled up the sleeves and there is silk pinstripe. J
Then we went on to a Japanese Garden. It was simply STUNNING! So for the next couple hours, being performers, we naturally had a photo shoot!
Yea! welcome!

Shopping!

YUM! Thank you Jesus!

Then Japanese food…of course there was no English so we looked for a place where the menu had pictures. It was very traditional and we had to remove our shoes and sit on pillows- but then of course they played American Top 40 music…lol.
