Where in the World is Kassie Kilpatrick?: Hong Kong

Yea Hong Kong! We had an overnight here but we were in rehearsals so we only got to play in the evening- but oh what a fun evening it was! Actually I got off for an hour on lunch break and ran into Chris in the mall! He arrived in Honk Kong to come on board for the rest of the contract to be with Justin…yea for my two gay boyfriends! I went shopping and bought a pair of passenger friendly boat shoes. They are made for walking so they are super cushy- and super preppy…but hey that’s my new life. And I have to admit I am quite enjoying it. There is something super classy about it that I love.

Anyways. Jessica and I came up with my preppy cruise character…to go with my new shoes. Its character development- consider it my first acting class assignment… Susan Jane Rockford. She is very wealthy but doesn’t work. She goes to Harvard for fun and her husband works out of town building airplanes. She is having a passionate love affair with her Harvard professor. She loves throwing parties and has a nanny as well as a babysitter to take care of the children. She has recently discovered Swinging and attends only the classiest Swingers parties with her lover. :-p Okay enough of that…lol

So we got off and used the metro system to get to a cooler area to eat. We ended up eating at a noodle place. I had a shrimp dumpling noodle bowl. Wasn’t my favorite food but it was authentic J Then we walked around, jumped on the metro again and made our way to Victoria’s peak. Now let me say that I am afraid of heights…and this tram was old and rickety and rode uphill at such a steep angle…it was quite scary. We watched the city disappear behind us and when we arrived at the top we were in a mall-ish type place. We made our way to the top and when we stepped out onto the terrace it was breathtaking! Best view by far! It is so high! We stayed up there for a while enjoying the fresh air and the view and had some photoshoot time. Then eventually made our way back to the ship. I bought a jewelry bag and some chopsticks as a souvenier :-)
