its a hard life
Erin and I were the only cast members who had off so we got out for a full day! We rode the scooters over to the cable cars- it’s the longest highest cable car ride to Vinpearl Land. Claustraphobia, heights, and water- all my fears rolled into one experience! Lol….it was beautiful though. We went to the theme park which was a ghost town. We rode some rides- which probably haven’t been safety checked since they were built. Then we rode some water rides- one called the Tsunami which was super scary but fun. We laid on the beach for a while and the water was beautiful!!! Then we left and took a cab into town to the XQ artisan and crafts…We saw their silk thread painitngs, some modern art pieces and lots of hand made silk clothes, shoes, jewelry, hair pieces, etc. I bought a hand made and painted fan to keep me cool around the ship bc it is so humid here! I also bought a 100% silk blouse, which I got many complements on when I wore it to the theater the next day J I bought a necklace as well. I’m trying to buy useful souveniers. We had lunch at a beautiful sidewalk cafĂ© on the beach. I had two mojitos (strong ones), Erin had a beer, I had a seafood dinner and an appetizer, as did she….and all together it was $15 USD. Its soooo cheap over here! Anyways….it was a beautiful day in Vietnam!
